About Me

Hi! I’m Nathan (KFØYGA). I am a 28 year old, Christian, ham radio enthusiast, network engineer, and all around tech guy. I live almost in the middle of the USA in Topeka, KS.

About This Site

This is my website where I document my adventures in ham radio, faith, and just about everything. I add to the site quite regularly, so keep and eye on the page index for new pages, or the page timestamps for updated content on a page. (Please note that the timestamp represents the time the source file for a particular page was last modified. Some pages contain content that is rendered on the server side and may change without updating the page modified timestamp.)

The site stack is a custom concoction, similar to Github Pages. The base of the website is mostly Markdown, with some HTML and SCSS. This is all templated and rendered down by Jekyll to static HTML and CSS that is served by my Caddy reverse proxy server. For source control, I commit everything to a private git repo, hosted on my own private instance of OneDev. This also allows me to have a CI pipeline automatically build and publish the website whenever I push changes to the remote repo. I am also able to have a dev branch with the same pipeline, but separate deployment, so I can test out changes on a dev site, then when they are ready to publish, simply merge the changes into the public branch.
